Announced that it has commenced a summer drill program at its Rahill-Bonanza joint venture Project. The program will focus on delineating the recently identified PG70 Gold Zone, the West Granodiorite Deposit and will test the projected north-south fault structures that are host to the main gold zones at the adjoining Cochenour (Bruce Channel) Mine complex.

Announced that drilling at its East Bay Project in the Red Lake gold mining district of Ontario, Canada discovered a "potentially significant" gold bearing system. Drill results included intersections of 51.04 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold across 0.7 meters, and 7.25 g/t across 2.8 meters.

Released recent drilling results from its Hardrock Project, located in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. Highlights emanated from recent expansion drilling in the NN Zone, which returned "some of the best intersections to-date" - including 22.97 grams per tonne of gold across 24.8 meters.

Reported deeper follow-up drilling results at its Rahill-Bonanza joint venture Project - located in the Red Lake gold mining district of northwestern Ontario Canada. The project is being explored by joint venture partner Red Lake Gold Mines Limited (RLGM), an affiliate of Goldcorp (GG). The deepest intersection returned 25.0 meters of mineralization, the widest interval within the PG70 Zone. The project remains open in all directions.

Announced the appointment of Richard J. Hall as Chairman and a director. Previously, Mr. Hall served as President and CEO of Metallica Resources Inc. where he guided the development, construction and commissioning of the Cerro San Pedro gold-silver mine in Mexico. Mr. Hall will succeed John Cook, who will continue to consult for Premier on several development initiatives.
